SGI - Sure, they make colorful computers, but they also have an image guru who runs Graphica Obscura, (Under cool stuff.) which has a 'tao of web publishers'.

Adobe - They make Photoshop, Illustrator, and Pagemaker, used by most of the nets web publishers for graphics.

vivid Studios - Creators of the first net hunts, vivid Studios is a San Fran design firm that wrote Multimedia Demystified for Apple.
