Our dns servers have been changing a little recently, and are ready for general use.
The server addresses are:
205.238.128.39 205.238.128.42Here are the instructions for changing over your DNS servers:
Windows 95:
- Go into the 'My Computer' icon at the top left of your screen.
- Go into the 'Control Panels' folder.
- Double click on the 'Network' icon.
- Scroll down in the 'Installed' window to 'TCP/IP'.
- Double click on 'TCP/IP'.
- Click on 'DNS Configuration'.
- Remove the entries in the lower 'DNS Server Search Order' box, and enter the following numbers into the upper box, clicking on 'Add' after each:
205.238.128.39 205.238.128.42- Then click 'Ok', 'Ok', and restart your computer.
Macintosh:
System 7.5 or earlier (Without OpenTransport)
- Go into the 'MacTCP' control panel.
- Click on MacPPP, and click 'More'.
- Remove the entries in the right 'DNS Server' box, and enter the following numbers into the right boxes:
205.238.128.39 205.238.128.42- Then click 'Ok', 'Ok', and restart your computer.
System 7.5.3 (With OpenTransport)
- Open the 'TCP/IP' control panel.
- Remove the entries in the 'Name Server Adr:' box, and enter the following numbers:
205.238.128.39 205.238.128.42- Then close the control panel and you're set.
